Event Details

The X-Trail 10K takes in two superb local country parks and a variety of running terrain. These locations will test all levels of runners, through both Daisy Nook and Park Bridge Country Parks. The 10K running route is designed to take in the breath-taking local landscape and give runners an exhilarating challenge!

Why should I enter the X Trail 10k 2022 race?

You’ll be part of one of the fastest growing running events in the North West.

  • All finishers will receive the commemorative Tour of Tameside  X Trail 10k medal
  • You will receive free chip timing and race results online and by text message
  • Water will be supplied at the middle and end of the race
  • Marshalled race route on closed roads
  • Route markers every 1 km
  • Onsite car parking
  • Massages provided by our Official Physiotherapy Partner, Harris & Ross

How will the day work?

Please note the below itinerary should be used as a guideline to runners only and is subject to change. All itinerary information will be sent two weeks before the run date.

6.00-6.30 PM: We advise runners get to Oldham Rugby Club early to ensure you secure your parking space. Follow the directional arrows to the start. Maps to the start point will also be available at race HQ.

6.30 PM: Please feel free to wander around our Athletics Village area. Here we have lots of supporters freebies and products on offer from our sponsors. Please also ensure you leave yourself time to chat to us if needed at the race HQ.

7.00 PM: We are offering a free warm up for anyone who is interested. Please head over to the warm up area at the start point within Park Bridge to prepare for the run.

7.15 PM: Ready. Steady. Go!

9.00PM: Results from the day can be found on www.tdl.co.uk. We will crown our male, female and age category winners.

10.00PM onward: Please ensure you get home safely and rest ready for Stage 2 tomorrow! You can finds out about Stage 2 of the Tour of Tameside here: The Hell on the Fell race.

Prize Money is in the form of CHARITY DONATION to a charity of the winners choice
